puppy kindergarten

Get your pup off to a great start in this introductory class. We’ll cover foundational basic manners with a focus on teaching your pup calm behavior around you, strangers, guests, and fellow canines. Puppy socialization includes carefully managed play time. Every new puppy owner needs a little support, so we’ll cover how to manage puppy antics like biting, jumping and chewing up your stuff.

  • 6 weeks of group class
  • $170 tuition includes all group sessions + materials
Prerequisites
  • Puppies under 4 months old
  • Puppies must have been seen by a veterinarian and been declared healthy, and have begun their puppy shots. (It is not required to have completed your puppy’s vaccination series. Questions about vaccine requirements? Please ask us!)

puppy II: adolescent good manners

The perfect class for pre-teen and teenage pups (17 weeks to 1 1/2 years of age) or puppies who successfully completed Puppy Kindergarten and want to keep training. Has your sweet puppy become an unruly teenager with selective hearing? We cover basic obedience cues and put those into practice with fun activities that teach self-control in a distracting environment.

Prerequisites
  • No previous class or training required, but dogs must be healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, and show no aggression towards other dogs or people.

adult good manners

Do you have an adult dog who just joined your family or one who just needs to learn some manners? This is the class for you. We cover basic obedience cues and put those into practice with fun activities that teach self-control in a distracting environment.

advanced manners/canine good citizen prep

Passing the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test is a great way to show the world your dog is polite and well-trained. This class will focus on perfecting the skills learned in prior classes and the 10 CGC test items. The CGC test will be administered in the final class.
